BRYSON CITY, N.C. - eTravelWire -- Here is what's new for spring and summer at the award-winning Lakeview at Fontana spa resort in Bryson City, N.C.:

New Treetop Soaking Cabana Ritual
Elevated on a forested hillside for a secluded, therapeutic, and deeply nurturing experience, the Treetop Soaking Cabanas feature an oversized stand-alone tub with spectacular views of Fontana Lake and the Smoky Mountains. For those who would like to enhance their soak, the new Get Glowing Ritual invites guests to soak up nature and get glowing. Start your head-to-toe glow with an ultra-hydrating hair conditioning treatment to nourish locks, and revive tired skin with an all-natural fiber exfoliating sponge (yours to keep!). Get your complexion selfie ready with a smoothing face mask, and your body glowing with the resort's popular Bamboo & Lemongrass Cabana Cream. In addition to resort guests, local residents and those who are staying in area Airbnbs, cabins, etc. can reserve soaks.

Outdoor Pool is Open
The outdoor, spring-fed pool at Lakeview at Fontana is open. Enhancements to the pool area include a small snack bar, and new furniture & umbrellas. Open through mid-September, the pool overlooks Fontana Lake and is for resort guests only.

She lives on-site and loves to mingle with guests.
