Attracting a Grocery Store and New Development: In response to years of resident requests for a local grocery store, Mr. Noblitt worked with developers, property owners, and the Economic Development Organization to secure a Tom Thumb grocery store as part of a 2,000-home development. Advocating for City Staff and Retirees: Recognizing the need for competitive compensation, Mr. Noblitt commissioned a comprehensive salary study that resulted in significant pay increases for City employees—up to 20% or more in some cases.
