NEW YORK - eTravelWire -- ACI (American Conference Institute) and the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) have teamed up once again to deliver the industry's annual Legal, Regulatory & Compliance Forum on Dietary Supplements (ACI- CRN Dietary Supplements Forum.). This year's conference will return on June 28–29, 2023 at the New York City Bar Association in New York City.
Megan Olsen, CRN's Senior Vice President & General Counsel, has stressed the importance of this year's conference given the host of unique challenges facing the dietary supplements industry. Olsen stated, "The supplement industry has experienced tremendous growth over the last few years but also faces mounting challenges from numerous directions. Everything from threats to innovation because of FDA's over-broad interpretation of DSHEA provisions, to increased media and consumer scrutiny that the industry is "unregulated," to bad actors threatening consumer safety and companies' reputations with counterfeit and other fraudulent products." Olsen further commented, "This conference has always provided an excellent opportunity for industry leaders to discuss the latest challenges, learn from your fellow regulatory and legal professionals, and exchange ideas to help the industry grow and enhance trust with regulators and consumers."

Taneesha Routier, Director of Regulatory Affairs at Xymogen, who is also co-chairing this year, noted that "The strength of the dietary supplement community is ever present when CRN and ACI converge leaders and learners for invigorating panel discussions, cutting edge skill development, and career changing networking opportunities amongst peers. In a time where drug preclusion and other 'big pharma' leaning policies are increasing, this forum provides those in the trenches the skills necessary to combat industry foes effectively and on one accord. CRN and ACI continue to lead the charge by equipping attendees with timely information that is pertinent to the continuation of the objectives of maintaining a responsible dietary supplement industry."
This year's ACI-CRN Dietary Supplements Forum will be a comprehensive 1.5 day conference — with pre-conference workshops covering international commercialization of supplement products and social media advertising concerns for the industry. The event will additionally feature a new post-conference "Class Action Defense Boot Camp" which will provide class action preparedness protocols and pre-suit defense strategies. Live streaming option also available for the main conference.
