ST. LOUIS - eTravelWire -- The National Museum of Transportation invites the community to explore transportation history, culture, and innovation through its engaging 2026 Speaker Series, featuring a diverse lineup of authors, historians, transportation experts, and community leaders.
The Speaker Series will take place monthly at The National Museum of Transportation, located at 2933 Barrett Station Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. All presentations are free and open to the public; however, space is limited and reservations are required at tnmot.org.
The 2026 Speaker Series schedule includes:
"The National Museum of Transportation is proud to present a Speaker Series that explores transportation history through a wide variety of topics and perspectives," said Terri McEachern, Executive Director of The National Museum of Transportation. "These programs help connect our community to the stories, innovations, and people that shaped how we travel, work, and live. Through these speakers, we continue our mission of preserving and sharing transportation history for future generations."

The National Museum of Transportation is a 501(c)(3) organization that relies on the generous financial support of the community to continue preserving transportation history and educational programming for visitors of all ages.
Reservations for all Speaker Series events can be made online at tnmot.org.

- October 8 — Ken Velten: "US Airlines: From the Wright Brothers to World War II"
- November 12 — New St. Louis Lambert International Airport Executive Director: "A Look Forward" (to be announced)
